Introduction
The Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Helicopter Association (RAFSARHA) is being formed from the 202 Squadron Association and the 22 Squadron Association.
Ethos for the Conduct of RAFSARHA
To promote the continuing friendship and comradeship of the RAF SAR Helicopter community.
Membership
The membership of the RAFSARHA is, primarily, formed by combining the current membership of both the 202 Squadron Association members and the 22 Squadron Association members. Two categories of mmbership are offered: Member and Honorary Membership.
Member will include:
> Anyone who has served on or with an RAF Search and Rescue Helicopter Unit (Squadron/Flight/Detachment)
> Current serving members of 22 and 202 Squadrons, regardless of the Squadron roles.
> Meteorological-era members of 202 Squadron
> "Friends" of RAF Search and Rescue Helicopters would be eligible for membership.
Member fee will be £10.00 a year.
Honorary Membership will be offered to:
> Members who reach 90 years of age.
> "Special case" members can be nominated for Honorary membership.
> Honorary Members will be offered free membership.
